Fabrication of Plastics

The process is divided into differents stages:

And at the same time is divided in 4 steps:
– The plastics are puted in a feed hoper which feeds into the central system.
– One turning bolt pushes the plastic into a recipent where the heaters increase the warm and
– a molten plastic is forced through a shaping die.
– Solidifaction by chilling.

There is a material made of organic or inorganic products capable of beign molded.

They can be classificated acording their temperature resistance:

Thermpolastics : They can be modelated a lot of times because they change their state when you give they heat from solid to liquid.

Thermosets : They don’t change as the thermpolastics do.

* The plastic can be reutilise. In some cases we can make funny forms from it*

Solar Energy o_O

The Solar Energy is the energy that we get from the sun using photovoltaic (PV) to convert the sun’s radiation in energy using semiconductors that exhibit the photovoltaic effect. There are two times to get solar energy:

Photovoltaic Energy: We use panels to get energy from the Sun with semiconductors.
Solar Thermal Energy: Is a technology for harnessing solar energy for thermal energy (heat.)

Consequences of a nuclear disaster

Now there’s a mundial crisis about the nuclear power energy. A disaster is happening in Japan.

There was a tsunami near the north west coast of Japan, produced by an erthquake of 8.9 who destroyed all the towns and cities near the coast. Like the city of Sendai, who has a nuclear power near the city.

Two reactors of the power plant has exploted and eliberate a cuantity of radiation 1000 times more than the cuantity of radiation who permits the WHO.

Wind power is when a wind turbine (a rotator machine that converts the energy of the wind in electricity). Is a renewable form of getting energy. The better’s country of getting wind electricity are Denmark,Ireland, Portugal,Spain and Germany.

The rotor blades catch the wind and pass the perfomance on the hub.

The hub is connected with a slow running drive shaft.

A tall wind tower reaches 40 meters for catch the wind in more km/h.

Uranium

Uranium is a mineral found in the rocks. It isn’t a renewable energy, we can’t make more.
Everithing is made for atoms and their are formed too by neutrons and protons and moving around them there are the electrons.
There is a energy stored n the nucleus of an atom (Nuclear energy). There are two forms ti free the energy in atoms:
1. Fusion: Is to combine atoms to make a new atom. Here we have an example:

2. Fission: Is to split the atoms apart. We can split one atom in two smaller atoms. The extra energy is released as heat and radiation. Here we have an example:

Power plants use fission to make energy. Atoms from uranium are split into anothers smaller. The heat that is released as heat is used to make electricity.

Nuclear power is clean, he don’t burn anything to pollute the atmosphere but it produces radiation (rays of energy like X-Rays also given off).

Some radiation is helpful, is used by the doctors for x rays. Power plants are very careful to keep radiation from escaping.

A fuel from nuclear power station produces too much radiation. This radiation can’t be put into a landfill, it have to be stored in special cubes, for take it away from people.

Some people think that the radiation is too dangerous for our lives.

Fossil Fuel Power Stations

A Fossil Fuel Power Station is a power station that burns coal and others fossil fuels to produce electricity. They have many machinery the heat energy of combustion innto mechanical energy.

A ”biol” burn the fuel for generate heat. The feat is transferred by some tubes where pases the water evaporates. The steam passes at a steam turbine who is explain up in the text. After that the steam is cooled in a condenser where circules flow and is expulsed at the atmosphere by a cooling tower.

Energy

Energy is the capacity of a phisicaly sistem to perfom work. This one exist in several forms such as kinetic, heat or mechanical energy, light. potential energy, electrical or more forms.
